After searching the market for Digital Signage suppliers we realised that Revel Digital offered something very unique in the digital signage space. Previously, companies have needed to install signage operation equipment or servers within their building. These systems were expensive to install and upgrades required visits from technicians at further expense. In an innovative move, Revel has taken the management of Digital Signage online, making it much simpler and cost-effective to manage video walls, multiple or single screens direct from your web browser.

Here’s how it works. Firstly, Icon installs a mini-computer which web-enables the customer’s existing TV screens or monitors. Secondly, customers choose a screen template which is customised to include their business logo and their choice of media (e.g. Slides, Images, Google Gadgets for news, traffic and weather, TV channels, Twitter, YouTube, QR Code, RSS feeds etc.).

Once setup, the customer can manage their text or event updates via:

* Social Media accounts such as Twitter
* Google text documents or spreadsheets
* RSS Feeds
* Online calendar software such as Microsoft Outlook or Google Calendar
When changes are saved online, they go live in a matter of minutes.

Existing images, videos and slide presentations are simply uploaded and added to a playlist or scheduled to display on different days and times.

For customers who don’t have the in-house resources to manage or create screen content, Icon will provide a full-service content management service. This option ranges from simply updating content to creating customised marketing or corporate communications content in Flash animation, video, photographic or PowerPoint format.
